Jairo G. Cano – Jairo G. Cano is an Associate with Agostino & Associates, P.C. with a practice focused on civil tax matters before federal and state taxing authorities. Prior to joining Agostino & Associates, Mr. Cano was an associate in the tax section of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General. Mr. Cano served as an IRS extern during his final semester in law school. He graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law and obtained his LL.M. in tax from the University of Florida.
Michelle Capezza – Michelle Capezza is a Member of Epstein Becker Green’s Employee Benefits and Health Care and Life Sciences practices, where she works in the areas of ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation. Ms. Capezza has more than 16 years of experience representing a range of clients in these types of matters, from Fortune 500 companies and multinational corporations to non-profit entities, medium-sized businesses, and individual executives, across various industries including financial services, health care, hospitality, retail, and technology. Ms. Capezza was recommended for her work in employee benefits and executive compensation on a national level in the 2013 edition of The Legal 500 United States. In 2011, Ms. Capezza was named a “Rising Star” by New York Super Lawyers - Metro Edition, and in 2009, she was named a “Rising Star” by New Jersey Super Lawyers magazine for her work in Employee Benefits/ERISA. Ms. Capezza received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law and is currently a member of the Seton Hall Law Alumni Council.
James F. McDonough, Jr. – James F. McDonough, Jr. is Counsel at Scarinci Hollenbeck, where his work concentrates on wealth preservation and estate planning for high net worth individuals, closely held business matters and ownership succession, estate administration and income tax planning. He worked for three years for the public accounting firm, then known as Touche Ross, where he obtained his license as a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. McDonough’s other professional experience includes planning for corporate income deferred compensation, qualified plan and tax-free exchanges as a tax attorney at Union Camp Corporation. He was also employed as Tax Manager for Monroe Systems For Business, Inc. and worked as a tax attorney for five years where he engaged in corporate and estate tax planning and estate administration and litigation. Mr. McDonough graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law, obtained his M.L.T from Georgetown University Law Center and received his LL.M. in tax from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
Anthony D. Porcaro – Anthony D. Porcaro is a Director and Tax Counsel for Credit Suisse Securities (USA), LLC, the US Investment Banking Subsidiary of Credit Suisse AG, a Global Investment Bank headquartered in Switzerland. Mr. Porcaro has over 20 years of experience specializing in the taxation of international banks, the taxation of fixed income lending, securities and derivative transactions, the taxation of various asset management funds (i.e., private equity, hedge fund, mutual funds), the taxation of merger and acquisition transactions, federal income tax examinations and federal tax procedure. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Porcaro was a tax consultant with Price Waterhouse LLP. Mr. Porcaro graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law and received his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Nathan J. Stein – Nathan J. Stein is a Partner at Rufolo & Stein, LLC. His experience covers a wide range of tax, trust, and estate matters including negotiating, litigating, and settling civil and criminal tax controversies before the Internal Revenue Service and state taxing authorities. Mr. Stein also has extensive experience acquired within the IRS Office of Chief Counsel. There, his practice focused upon rendering legal advice to audit teams embedded in large corporate taxpayers. In addition, Mr. Stein served on the Management Team of a national tax shelter project. Mr. Stein is recognized as a “Rising Star” in New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s 2010, 2011, 2012 & 2013 editions. He graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law and obtained his LL.M. in tax from Georgetown University School of Law.
Hernan A. Stigliano – Hernan A. Stigliano is a Tax Managing Director in KPMG’s New York Alternative Investment practice, specializing in state and local tax. He consults with many multi-jurisdictional businesses. His main areas of focus are income and franchise taxation, tax return reviews, state audit support, corporate restructuring, state tax compliance, state tax provision analysis and sales and use taxation. Mr. Stigliano has experience in several areas including alternative investment, real estate, asset management, private equity, leasing, and banking. He graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law.
