New York County Lawyers' Association - Upcoming Programs including "Managing Your Law School Debt" & "Deconstructing the NY Bar Exam"

The New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) is holding two free programs for NYCLA members. Non-members receive a free year as a NYCLA law student when they pay $25 to attend either program.
Managing Your Law School Debt:
Understanding the repayment options on your student loans and the basics of personal finance can help you maximize your educational investment. This presentation will focus on money management and personal finance strategies that can help you manage repayment of your debt. It will include a comprehensive description of the income-based retainment plan, and the loan forgiveness program for lawyers who serve ten years in the public sector.

Deconstructing the Bar Exam:
Learn - specific techniques for increasing your essay scores; how to avoid fatal mistakes; how graders evaluate the essays; strategies for answering difficult questions; what you should never include in your essay answer; tips that may make the difference between passing and failing; how the New York multiple-choice questions are constructed and how to analyze them; character and fitness issues that could affect your admission to the bar.
